BLOCKS
A BLOCK IS SEALED WHEN SHARE WEIGHT REACHES DIFFICULTY. ITS HASH BINDS THE SHARES, THE WINNING SHAFT AND THE SOLVER GRADE.
The tree is rebuilt in your browser from the block's shares. If it lands on the same root the rig stored, the block is what it claims to be.

The hash is SHA 256 over the previous hash, the height, the share root, the shaft, the grade and the quoted amount, joined with bars. Change any one and the chain breaks from that block on.
The first retarget happens at block 16. It sorts the share counts of the last sixteen blocks, drops the two smallest and the two largest, and scales difficulty so the next blocks take about twenty four shares each.
No blocks yet. The table fills from height 1.
QUOTED. Shares reached difficulty, solvers were asked, and at least one listed shaft was quoted at or above the cutoff. The block stores the winner, its grade and the exact amount the solver offered for 1 SOL.
ORPHANED. No listed shaft cleared the cutoff, or no solver answered. The block is still recorded with its shares and its hash, but it has no shaft, and its weight carries into the next block so nothing is lost.
SETTLED. A deposit reference exists for the block, meaning the quoted swap was actually funded and filled through NEAR Intents. A block only shows this state when the reference is stored on its row.
DEPTH counts how many blocks the winning coin's own network has mined since the nearminer block was found, against that network's coinbase maturity: 100 for Bitcoin, Zcash, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Dash, 240 for Dogecoin, 60 for Monero.
